Success in this business is very simple: The more you TALK about your excitement for the product, the quicker you achieve the ranks. A numbers game, per say. For every 10 no's you will receive, you will get 1 yes.
1. Within your first week, reach out to 25 people by facebook message, text, call, or email. Mention that you've made a leap into an amazing cosmetics company and we have a mascara that is a MUST TRY! Send them a selfie of you wearing one eye with it and one eye without.
2. Set up an online party under your name in your back office (you can see how on our team page or ask your sponsor or upline elite),
3. Post on facebook a picture of YOU in the mascara. One eye done, and one eye not. Tell your friends you are going to place an order and save them shipping for those local who want to pick it up from you!
4. Send an email out to all your contacts with an "I'm open for business". Ask for their help and expertise in launching your business by any referrals of people they would know who would LOVE a chance at getting free natural based cosmetics, all for sharing a lash link with friends. Also, ask for any referrals to anyone who would love to make a little extra income each month heading into the fall/holiday season!
5. Connect with your sponsor and your upline elite via facebook. (You can find this information in your backoffice under "my office" > "my royalties" > see above the chart for the information. Introduce yourself to your upline elite and tell them your why for joining!
6. Make sure you are added to the "fabYOUlash" facebook group page. This is a VERY informative page to be on and you will get updates of information from corporate, positive/uplifting vibes to help your business and more importantly, great tips and tricks to be successful.

Where do you start?

5. Make sure to have at least 5 mascaras on hand at all times! Post on your wall, "Look what just came in the mail and post a pic of your stock!" Say, "Locals, who wants one? No shipping fees, just come pick one up!" Have some in your purse/car at all times.
6. Order Blitz cards!!! (Can order them through your backoffice supplies through VistaPrint. 100 FREE business cards for being a new presenter. Also, google coupon codes for vistaprint and get more savings!).
7. Get out of the house and go with only ONE eye DONE! Then share why you are wearing your mascara that way! Keep your own mascara on yourself, so you can do a “demo” on your other eye!!!
8. Host an in-home LASHBASH cocktail party! Set your presenter kit out and let the ladies play! Or…do a latte and lash coffee hour.
9. Get out!!! Get off the computer, and GO PLACES! The more places you go, the more you can SHARE! Grocery store, preschool teacher, checkout lady at target, pool, ballet, soccer – wherever!!! SHARE! Talk! Be Bold!

It takes time to build a relationship. Keep It Simple! Do not spew! Do not push! Don't count anyone out! FOLLOW UP!
How many people should you talk to, to sponsor 15 people in one month? about 100 people, conversations could go back and forth with possibly 60 people- out of those maybe 15 join . BUT, not all of these conversations are over night. Some of these people you could warm up or talk to for months.. on and off. Some have seen facebook posts for months.
UTILIZE facebook! 90% of your business is done through social media- mostly facebook.
When people think of you, they need to think of Younique. When people think of Younique, you want them to think of you. Get over the fear of posting on your facebook profile. Utilize facebook and don't be afraid of what other people think or say. Not every single post needs or should be about younique and the posts don't have to be "buy this" "join now". Some of the most effective posts are where you welcome new team members on your wall, or thank customers for their orders. Thank every single customer on your wall and welcome new presenters. congratulates team members for their successes. People want to join because they see the success you are having. People WANT and use what we have.
So- where to start?
It all starts with a conversation. Contact those you know. Keep the invitation SUPER SIMPLE (that is REALLY important) ... it can be something like, "just wanted to see if you've ever thought about selling younique (or joining younique)." Or "As you probably have seen I recently started a new business and I just wanted to pick your brain about it to see what you think."
And it's okay to start building a business relationship - even with your friends. If they say no... and some will so it's okay. Just say "awesome. have you tried any of our products? I'd love to send you some samples. Oh, and I really love referrals so if you know anyone looking for business or is an entrepreneur type person I have a great bonus program and I'll give you a _____ for referring someone that joins. "
FOLLOW-UP
The other important thing is FOLLOW-UP. Follow up, Follow up, Follow up. And don't stop following up unless they give you a definite no.
Don't delete emails or fb msgs from people - keep them and contact them at least once a month on follow-up days.... even every other week sometimes.
Start by choosing 5 people from facebook to msg. Keep it simple!!!
"Have you ever thought about selling/joining younique". then STOP.
(personalize the messages, make it a relaxed conversation)
It's a Numbers Game!!! It really is. If you aren't sponsoring you need to talk with more people. If you talked with 20 people this week - talk with 40 people next week. You should be talking to at least 5 people/day - at least! The more people you talk with, the more will join your team.
Don't Prejudge!!! You really NEVER know who will be interested in the opportunity.
What if they DO want info? Keep it simple. Don't vomit info all over your potential. If you give people too much information, they get confused... and when people are confused they do nothing... they can't make a decision.
Side note with follow-up: there is a fine line. If someone isn't messaging you back-- don't just msg them every hour. Don't hassle people. People don't want to be pushed into joining. Put them on your "contact once a month" list. Every six months, people's lives change.
Everyone you meet is a potential presenter. Always mention the business to everyone.
Ask your customers for photos. Tell them you want to use them as a lash model. That starts the conversation with you and your customer.
So, what do you send to people that request more info? Start with a little simple paragraph about the company: ex: "younique is a full line of naturally-based products". Then share your story. "I've had 'X' promotions in __ months. Or I've earned ___ incentives. Talk about what it has done for your or for your family. What is your business paying for? Dance lessons, car payment, rent, etc . . . It's important to connect with those you are having conversations with.
FAST START!
90 days to hit $2000 in personal sales and invite 3 of your friends along for the ride on your team!
You get ONE 30 day story. You’re going to tell this story over and over. How quick did you get started, what was your commitment, belief level, promote the product, build a team. In your first 30/60/90 days, what you’re building is a story that will make you a lot of money or not as much in the future.
You want to REALLY hit it hard so you have that product story, your getting started story, your when you hit that first rank story, 1st/2nd/3rd commission check story, first company event story. THESE are the things that sell, and these are the things that will get your teams building and getting you rank advancements!
Don’t waste this time and say you’ll do it later. You really want to focus on kickstarting strong!
If your story isn’t where you want it to be, you can RESTART your story. Tell the world, I didn’t know what I was doing and wandered around. Then I decided to make it happen and boom in 30 days/60 days/90 days here is what I did! Use it as a refresh to create that marketing message for people.

YOU CAN DO THIS! You have it in you to do it. You have the skills and talents to do it. Face your fear, overcome your fear, move into action with confidence and don’t let anyone convince you otherwise. Don’t let critics or people shake their head at you, don’t let your situation handle you.
YOU CAN DO IT! You have a dream and unfinished business in life. You KNOW you are meant for more than your current circumstance is reflecting. YOU are meant to help others, be an example for your family. Your circumstances may be telling you it’s not for you, or you’re not cut out for it, and all the other lies going through your head. But you CAN ignore that and push past it and do it!
