Chartwell School: The Bulldog Bark

Weekly Newsletter for Chartwell Families

May 11, 2023

Message from Danielle: Thank You to the CFN

On behalf of our Chartwell team, thank you to the Chartwell Family Network and all members of our community who contributed to making Teacher Appreciation Week so special. The meals and cards and gratitude have been overwhelming - and we are all basking in the thoughtfulness of all the effort made.

I would especially like to thank Alissa Malakan, Stephanie Oshman, and Sara Ellefsen for their leadership and efforts to build community at Chartwell this week, and all year long. Their commitment to Chartwell and efforts to engage parents and caregivers in ways to support the school is extraordinary.

Thank you again - we are so grateful for our community and appreciate being appreciated!

With gratitude,

Danielle

IMPORTANT REMINDER: May 19 is a Faculty In-Service Day - No Classes

Friday, May 19 is a Faculty In-Service Day and there will be no classes. This was previously on the calendar as May 26 and was changed in March due to professional development and timing for comment writing.

Thank you for noting this change on your calendars.

End of Year Schedule and Details

We are entering one of the most event-filled times of the year! Early next week we will be sending a comprehensive "last week of school" special edition of the Bark to help our families plan for these special events.

This week's Bark includes the schedules for graduation and moving-up ceremonies to mark your calendars. We encourage all families to read The Bark thoroughly each week through the end of the year to stay informed and in the know.

If you have urgent questions that are not answered in this week's Bark, email info@chartwell.org and we will be sure you get a timely response.
