WWI
The U.S. got in involved in the WWI when Germany sank Lusitania unexpectedly because they thought a British passenger was smuggling arms. Also, because not joining WWI would have cost the U.S. about 1 million to 4 million dollars in the passing of years of WWI going on. Japan bombed Pearl Harbor that's when we went to war with every one across seas.
Ship Lusitania 1915
The United States were forced to get involved in WWI when Ship Lusitania got sunk and increased the deaths of Americans. A Germany U-boat torpedoed and sank Ship Lusitania because they thought a Britain passenger was armed; later in 1917 the United States joined WWI.
WW1 Soldiers
With Great Britain, the United States, France. Russia, Italy, and Japan more than 9 million soldiers died in WWI (1914-1918).
Leaving
Over 4 million soldiers left for WWI which were men. The men had to leave their jobs; the only ones to look back on for taking the jobs were the women. Women took the jobs, even the hard core jobs.

Economic
- Technology experience a great boost after the war
- Germany started to rapidly print more money
- women took over many jobs to make money for family
- 4 million men went to fight in WWI
