Special Announcement:
Semester 2 schedules are now available for viewing in StudentVue. If you would like to request a schedule change for Semester 2, we encourage you to do that now. All schedule change requests MUST go through the Schedule Change Request Form. The last day to make schedule changes for Semester 2 will be Monday, February 6th, at 4 PM. Any schedule changes after that may result in a WF (withdrawal fail).
Schedule changes will be considered for the following reasons:
A scheduling error was made, and a student was placed in an incorrect class (for example: placed in Geometry but should be in Algebra)
Student is missing a core graduation requirement
Student failed a class and has not yet recovered the credit
Schedule changes will NOT be considered for:
Teacher requests
Classes with friends
Please be patient with the counseling staff during this time. Ms. Bettendorf and Ms. Pinkstaff have nearly 700 students they work with so it can be difficult at times for the two counselors to get through all schedule requests quickly while also attending to the other demands of their jobs.
Your School Counselor is assigned to you based on your last name:
Aarin Pinkstaff, A through K
Alyssa Bettendorf, L through Z
Susie Erickson, Intervention Specialist
Justin Engstrom, Care Coordinator
Ondrae Sold, Registrar
Nicole Verzino, Counseling Secretary

What we do:
Event planning, resourcing, and fundraising for the Senior Luncheon, Baccalaureate, and Graduation party
Senior Luncheon, Fri Jun 2:
After the seniors do their parade-style walk through the elementary schools, they come back to the high school to refuel with some lunch and then start rehearsal for the graduation ceremony.
Baccalaureate, Fri Jun 2:
A more intimate opportunity to pause and reflect on this rite of passage, which includes some inspirational speakers, and fun interaction for the seniors. We also have a slideshow with baby pictures! Send to shssafeandsober@gmail.com, including the first and last name of the student.
Graduation party, Sat Jun 3:
This party is meant to be a safe place for graduating seniors to celebrate together. They will be bussed to a secret (fun!) location in the evening after the graduation ceremony. They will be bussed back in the morning. The evening is filled with food, games, prizes, activities, chilling, and loads of fun!
