News from the State Road Library!
March Book MADNESS is here!
State Road is joining schools around the country in a bracket-style tournament that runs like the NCAA Basketball Championship, except it matches books in one-on-one “games” and students vote for their favorites to move on to the next round. A central goal of March Book Madness is to share literature that reflects and honors the lives of all young people. To that end these books showcase a diverse representation of characters, as well as authors and illustrators. Your child will be exposed to exciting picture books related to essential skills, acceptance and diversity that feature compelling characters.
Who will be crowned the State Road 2020 Champion?! Ask your child about his or her favorites and follow the competition on the Library Facebook Page (State Road Library) or on Twitter: Mrs. Koch @StateRdLibrary
