Oil is mostly found underground. It can be inside rocks underground.
Where is Solar energy found?
Solar energy is traced back to the sun, but you have to use solar panels. Solar panels could be on top of your house.

Did you know that the sun is more than 90 million miles from earth and it takes less then 10 minutes for light to travel that distance. Solar energy is a free source.
