Riverview Report
Here's What's Happening at Riverview
Can you believe we are in the final stretch of this school year? I can't believe how fast this year has flown by! I am so grateful to have the best students, faculty, and staff here at Riverview. It really is an amazing place to be.
I am so proud of each of our students for the hard work they are putting into their end of year testing. We are trying to wrap up testing in the next 2-3 weeks.
We have a busy month ahead as we close up the 22-23 school year. We are so grateful that the weather has finally decided to warm up and we can enjoy being outside. We have quite a few fun activities planned over the next month. I will include as many as I can on this newsletter, but please make sure you are reading your child's individual teacher's newsletter as well, so that you can stay up to date with what their class is doing.
If I can help in any way, please reach out to me.
Have an amazing month!
Thanks,
Ms. Poulson

A Message from Mayor Mike Mendenhall:
Dear River View Elementary Community,
Please instruct your students to stay away from the river banks! Yesterday, City crews saw students playing in and along the Spanish Fork River on the way home from school. The river is very dangerous and is running higher and faster than it has in recent history.
The trails under West Park Dr. and the south side of the river (Quail Hollow and River Cove subdivisions) are closed. Please heed all signs and instructions from City crews.
Thank you for helping to keep everyone safe!
Mayor Mike Mendenhall

If you have any neighbors that you know will have a kindergarten student next year, please encourage them to register now. Thank you for your help on this!
Please let us know if we can support in any way.

Student Needs and Considerations for the 23-24 School Year

Classes are balanced academically, behaviorally, and socially to ensure all students have an optimal learning environment. Creating classes is a great responsibility that I spend much time on and take very seriously. The deadline to have this form turned in is Friday, May 12th at 3:00 pm. I will do my best to place your child in the healthiest learning environment for them.
