St. Anne School Newsletter
October 2, 2019
A Note from the Principal
Dear Parents,
Since many of you may read only a portion of the newsletter or not all of it, I wanted to put this request right up front for you to read. Fr. Dan is hoping to get some of our contractor parents to help with a project he is trying to get done in the church. We want to move the position of the pews next to the St. Anne altar and have them face the altar rather than have them facing the main altar. If you would be willing to assist with this make-over, please contact Fr. Dan at 415-665-1600 or email him at frdan@stanne-sf.org. Thank you for your consideration.
Is your child interested in taking an after school Karate class? We will be offering an after school Karate class starting on Oct. 21. You and your child are invited to watch a Karate demonstration here in our school library on Oct. 7 at lunch time. Come by and see what your child will be learning in this Karate class. More information is noted later on in this newsletter.
Our Centennial Plans are coming along nicely. Have you ordered your tickets for the Gala yet? Also, everyone wears tee shirts and sweatshirts. Check out our St. Anne Centennial store below and join in the celebration of our school as well as be the best dressed person in your neighborhood by donning our Centennial clothing!

VIRTUS Online Training and Fingerprints Compliance
Starting this school year, EVERY PARENT who is planning to volunteer for field trips, retreats, overnights, library, health room, reading programs, or any other school/parish activity which involves being with students, must complete the VIRTUS ONLINE training AND be fingerprinted. Please complete the course and fingerprints as soon as possible so that there are no delays with your participation in school functions. Remember to select “SCHOOL” when registering at https://www.virtusonline.org/virtus/ to help us verify your compliance.
Parents who have completed the course but have not completed fingerprints have been placed in an "Inactive" module until fingerprints are complete. If you have any questions, please email Mrs. Perez at perez@stanne.com. Your attention to this matter is greatly appreciated!
