Private Lessons
Private Lessons are essential for musicians. There are many times we hear "I wish I can sound like that". They sound that way because they take private lessons! Baldwin Wallace has an AMAZING music department with an OUTSTANDING private lessons program. We need to take full advantage of this opportunity! Click HERE for details!!!!
Night at the Races Packets went home!
Night at the Races
That's right, it is that time again in which the Night at the Races packets have been passed out and we asked that you see admissions, horses, and sponsors for this wonderful fundraiser! This year it will be at "The Lodge of New Russia Township". If you've ever been there, you know it is an amazing and beautiful place. So in order for this to be a huge success, let's all try and get more admission tickets sold, more sponsors and more races!
Agenda this week!
- Thursday 1.4.18 Band Booster Meeting 7pm
*Remember to always look ahead!
Placement Auditions announced today
Today after the Band Mid-Term, the Placement Audition results were posted. Every year some students are not satisfied with their placement. As a result, students are allowed to challenge another student. They are allowed to do this up to 2 weeks before a performance. The challenge form can be found in Charms. Students who are being challenged for their spot MUST accept the challenge or they forfeit their placement.
Uniform Pillows & Apparel for Sale!!
That's right! We have Marching Blue swag for sale along with Uniform pillows! Pillows are $40 and the swag varies in price. The Boosters take check, cash and credit card! Just email Mr. B!

- Saxophone Selmer C* mouthpiece; Rovner Dark Ligatures
All Saxes should be using 2.5 Rico Reserve

- Horn Schilke 30
- Trombone Bach 6.5 AL; Schilke 51D
- Euphonium Schilke 51D
- Tuba Helleberg 120 Standard
Another excellent Christmas gift is the app TONAL ENERGY it's around $4.00 and extremely beneficial.
Pep Band
All Students are Required to perform at 4 Pep Band events. Students are to report to the Band room @ 6:30 and wear Midview gear. Students must plan ahead and have their music ready BEFORE we rehearse, NOT during.
Here are the Pep Band dates (click on the date to sign up)
Pep Band Music!
All of the Pep Band music is in Charms documents in the "Stand Tunes" folders. Most of us have smart phones so the best "green" way to get the music is to pull it up on your phone and take screenshots of the music...There are some copies of this music but once that is gone, it's gone...
Here is the list of music we are performing at the December 8th Pep Band Game
