Chrome Cart Information

We are happy to report that the Google Chrome carts now have their own dedicated WiFi network!

Procedure for using a Chromebook:

1) Open the device. (You don't have to power it on - it will power up on its own.)

2) Wait a few seconds for the device to automatically find the network. (It will automatically search and find the new STUDENTWIFI@APS network.)

3) Log on with your APS Google account.

Please notify Keya Alexander [klalexander@atlanta.k12.ga.us] if you believe that your room location is having any sort of connectivity issue. Our goal is to have every single area of Maynard Jackson High School fully functional and productive.

Teen Read Week - "Read for the Fun of It!"

Teen Read Week™ is a national adolescent literacy initiative created by the Young Adult Library Services Association (YALSA). Its purpose is to encourage teens to be regular readers and library users.

Did you know that 22% of the nation's youth speak a language other than English at home? This year's Teen Read Week features a multi-lingual "Read for the Fun of it" theme. Join the conversation on Twitter at #TRW1.

Help Us with Pennies for Patients!

The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s (LLS) Student Series campaign is working with thousands of schools across the country to raise funds for blood cancer research. They are saving lives of blood cancer patients not someday but today.

Our school is joining the fight against blood cancers and helping LLS fund research and care for patients.

All donations are greatly appreciated and are tax deductible. Donations support LLS research, patient services, advocacy, public and professional education, and community services.

Visit our Web site often to check our progress and please invite friends who would also like to donate!

On behalf of blood cancer patients everywhere, thank you for your support!
