VALENTINE'S DAY PARTY- Thursday, February 14th
We will also be having our Valentine's Day party on Wednesday, February 14th. This week there was a notice about a family homework project sent home. It goes with a Valentine Poem. We would like you to create a Valentine box with your child. Your child will be using the box to gather the Valentine cards that will be exchanged. Please send in the completed box to school on or before February 8th. Have fun and be creative. If funds are tight and you cannot afford to purchase valentines, we discussed that homemade valentines are just as great as store bought. Let us know and we can send home some construction paper for you. If you would like to send in a yummy treat for the party, please let us know by sending in a note in your child's folder. Thank you in advance for you help!

Notes from Ms. Berube
We also have our concert on Tuesday at 9:15. If you can please have your children wear black and white. I am so excited to hear them perform.
Make sure all children have gloves, hats, etc. and a change of shoes!
We are finishing up unit 5 this week and I am so proud of all the hard work the children have been putting in. As always thank you for all you do!
Have a great week!
Notes from Mrs. Maillet
I just love your children, they are the best!! We had another great week of learning.
Big shout out to Bella, Maddie, and Addison for donating items to the classroom! We really appreciate the tissues, snacks, paper towels, wipes and markers! THANK YOU!!!
There has been a lot of illness going through the school, and we have had many friends out sick. I am hoping that this will pass quickly and they will all be feeling better. In the meantime, we are disinfecting as much as possible and encouraging students to wash hands frequently.
At this time, we are in desperate need of Clorox wipes. If any of you would like to donate some wipes, we would be VERY grateful!! Thank you in advance for your help!
Our Scholastic book order has shipped. I will send it home as soon as it arrives. Thank you for your continued support.
Notes from Mrs. Webb
This is Spirit Week! We should have a fun time showing our school spirit throughout the week!
I included a fluency page in your child’s folder to increase his/her fluency when recalling letter names, letter sounds, sight words, or sentence reading. Please practice this activity daily at home.
Please make sure your child comes to school with snow pants, boots, hat, mittens, and a jacket. I also suggest sending in extra socks to leave in the backpack. Little feet get wet! I will only let the children keep their snow pants and/or boots at school if I have a note from home. You can even jot me a quick note on the Daily Behavior Sheet. If you are in need of any of the outerwear please let me know. We have many resources to help.
New book orders will be sent home Monday and are due on February 8. The January book orders have been shipped and should arrive this week.
Our Winter Concert is tomorrow (Tuesday, January 29th) at 9:00. It should last about 45 minutes. Students are asked to wear black and white.
Wednesday, January 30th is a half day of school. Dismissal is at 12:00.
I sent home the class list for Valentine's. There is also a Valentine box that I am asking for every child to make at home and send in before Monday, February 11th. This box will be used to collect the Valentine's from friends on February 14th. We will be having a small celebration of our friendship on Valentine's Day.
I appreciate all of the donations that many of you have sent in. I really do! We always are in need of Antibacterial Wipes, Hand Soap, and Expo Markers.
I hope you have a great week!
Notes from Mrs. Marcoux
I will be sending home a list of class names for Valentine's this week. We are asking each child to send in a decorated box to put their valentines in . We will have a small celebration on the 14th. We have also been counting down the days until the 100th day of school. I will send home more information this week.
A big shout out to Leighann who made a book at home and lovingly shared it with the class. She was quite entertaining.
As always, we are in need of Antibacterial Wipes, hand soap and Expo markers.
Have a great week!
Notes From Mrs. Goldthwaite
Above you will find the list of what the days are. Tomorrow is Rainbow day!
We have our unit 5 assessment in Wonders this week. I am so pleased with the hard work the students are putting forth. They are great kids and want to learn. Extra reading and sounding out words would benefit them. If you need any books please ask and I will be sure to send some home to be borrowed.
It is also exciting to start a new math unit. We have worked on measurement for some time. We are going to be exploring number parts. I think you might even have some fun with the homework!
Please have students bring in extra shoes or sneakers when they wear their winter boots. It helps with them being dry and comfortable.
Will be sending home a February calendar later this week. Lots going on in February.
Just a reminder : Please send in your Valentines box when it is done. I have saved some tissue boxes if you need a box to decorate. Send me a note and I will send one home with your child.
Classroom wish list: Kleenex and Clorox wipes and dry erase markers.
