Faculty Spotlight - Summer Fun!

The Keefe Tech faculty and admin are ready for the 2018-2019 school year, but we had a great summer! A few highlights from our staff!

From Ms. Cavichio...

My husband and I went to the Outer banks for the week with our dog Jethro. He loved the beach even more than we did! We spent our days on the beach and the nights watching the most incredible lightning storms over the Atlantic Ocean. It was electrifying!!

I also went swimming with the manatees in Crystal River, Florida. My childhood friend and I were lucky enough to spend a long time with the most adorable manatee named Green bean. It was a fantastic adventure and I have great videos to show in my Science classes.

Boosters Club seeking new members!

The Boosters Club is seeking parent volunteers who are able to volunteer their time (even a few hours a week!) to help out at the snack shack, at football games, or at weekend events at Keefe Tech. The Boosters organization raises money each year to provide scholarships to outstanding seniors in each academic and vocational program. At Senior Awards Night last year, the Boosters gave out over $10,000 in scholarships! These scholarships would not be possible without parent volunteers. Please consider volunteering to work with the Boosters – any amount of time you could give would help them reach their yearly fundraising goal. For more information or to sign up to volunteer, please contact Paula Lammerding ( or Paula Forristall (

Academic Updates

The 2018-2019 school year is kicking off with new and exciting opportunities for students!

We're beyond thrilled to expand our Fine Arts program, under the direction of Mr. Lamb. Students are continuing their education, with the development of Ceramics II as an additional art elective offering. Likewise, Mr. Warren, has created a great opportunity for students with the continuation of his entrepreneurship course. We are excited to offer Entrepreneurship II as a complement to the introductory course offered in current and previous school years.

Our AP program is expanding and evolving at a great rate. We are so proud that our students are taking advantage of this opportunity and committing to a more challenging and rigorous curriculum. This year we are offering AP Calculus with Ms. Frank and AP Psychology with Mr. Cummings. Both instructors have worked diligently to prepare a top-notch curriculum for our excited students.

Wishing all the Broncos a great school year!
