Digital Citizenship Resources
Promoting a safe, responsible, and respectful digital zone!
What is Digital Citizenship?
It is of the utmost importance that our students learn how to access the internet and online resources in a manner that will be educational and useful for their learning. Unfortunately, there are resources out there that may not be appropriately suited for younger students, cyberbullying, and other harmful places. Students must be taught to react/act appropriately when something goes array online.
These resources target students in grades K-5 to help them become safe, responsible, and respectful digital citizens.
One way to react to cyberbullying is by blocking the person/site!
Another way to act to cyberbullying/inappropriate posts is by flagging it!
A safe way to respond to others online is by simply zipping it. Do not share anything personal online!
