Weekly LEGO Challenges
Each week we will release a LEGO challenge on Monday at 9AM ET and you will have one week to create a build with LEGO bricks that applies to the challenge!
You will submit a picture of the build you created for the challenge through a TINT page ā and all submissions must be received by Sunday at 11:59 PM ET. TINT Page Coming Soon!
Weekly DIY Challenges
Each week a DIY project video will be available on the National Clubs Newsletter for students to use as inspiration in making there own DIY craft. They will also have the opportunity to upload a picture of their project via our TINT page.
Available to all enrolled students in K-12th grade! TINT Page Coming Soon!
Monthly Photo Contests
Students have the opportunity to showcase their photography talents through our monthly photo challenges! Each month will have a new theme that students can submit a picture around, and each month a winner will be chosen from each grade band to receive a prize!
Available to K-12th grade students that are enrolled in a K12-powered by Stride school!

Build Your Brand on Social Media
Do you want to learn how to express who you are in a fun and professional way through social media? Well, this summer we are offering six (6) social media sessions that will address:
- How to build and reflect your personal brand
- Different features within the platform and best practices
- Questions submitted by you the student prior to the session
- Tips and tricks for the platform

eSports Camp
Students will have the opportunity to participate in 4 different games; League of Legends, Super Smash Bros, Rocket League, and Fortnite. This camp will start June 24th and continue weekly through August 13th.
Each of these games with have one week where the session will be dedicated to teaching students new skills within the game, and they will have time to practice these skills with one another. The second week will feature competitive play where students will get the chance to compete against one another to see who is the best!

Virtual Cookoff
The competition will begin on June 1st, 2021 and submissions must be uploaded via TINT by June 30th at 5pm ET.
Competition Layout:
- Students must create a meal dish or dessert following the specific guidelines laid out in the Cookoff Requirements.
- All entries must be homemade and the work of the person making the entry.
- The dish must be prepared within 90 minutes from prep to plating.
- Recipes must yield at least 2 portions.
- All competitors must have an adult proctor present during the Cookoff that can verify upon submission that all rules and requirements were adhered too.
- The Top 5 competitors will get the chance to compete in a Live National Cooking Competition held via Zoom Webinar.
Live National Cooking Competition
The top 5 competitors from the Virtual Cookoff will be invited to participate in a Live Cooking Competition held via Zoom Webinar.
Competitors will have 45 minutes to create a meal for one using this list of ingredients + any pantry staples:
- at least one green ingredient
- an ingredient that starts with a āCā
- an ingredient from the freezer
- a source of protein
- at least three spices that are not salt or pepper
Pantry staples include :
- Flour (or gluten free substitute)
- Milk (or lactose free option)
- Egg
- Butter
- Oil (olive/veg/canola)
- White Sugar
- Salt
- Pepper
The competitors must be on camera with their entire workspace in view for the duration of the competition.
Competitors will receive a 5-minute warning, and at 45 minutes all competitors must stop what they are doing and present their dish to the judges in whatever form it is in.
Cake Decorating Competition
This competition would be varied slightly for different age ranges
- K-5th would have the opportunity to decorate a cookie or cupcake
- 6th-12th would have the opportunity to decorate a two-tier cake
There would be two categories' participants could enter:
- Birthday
- Special Occasion (you decide)
The competition will begin on July 1st, 2021 and participants must upload a picture and/or video of their submission via TINT by July 31st at 5pm ET.
Judging Criteria:
Creativity, Development of a new idea, Visual Impact, Workmanship, Degree of Difficulty, Proportion, Balance and Color
