August 2020 HHASD Newsletter
Inspire. Persevere. Grow.
Greetings HHASD Family!
On Monday evening, we will review the final plan with the School Board. They will further act on this on Monday night. In the attached video, we explain the basics of the plan, mitigation steps we are taking, and upcoming events that will help prepare us for the 2020/21 school year.
Please note, this video was filmed prior to the Governor's Order, which means some of the information will require updating at the board meeting on August 3rd.

HHASD Return to School Plan Presentation
The district will be providing one face mask to each student and staff member. These should be washed daily to help mitigate risk. We ran a sale for custom logo facial coverings earlier this summer. The sale was such a hit, we are running it one more time. If you would like to purchase these facial coverings, you can do so this week. Masks are double layered with a filter pocket and a single length of paracord (not ear loops) to ensure a good fit. Masks and Gaiters are $4.25 each. Place your order by filling out this survey. Payment will be collected at delivery. Orders are due Augut 6th. Email kastner@hhasd.org with questions.
Eighth Grade Graduation
Thank you to everyone who made this evening possible: our new RMS Principal, Mr. Ryley Laird for presiding over the event, Ms. Jeni Kastner for all of her organization and set-up, Mr. Rick Croghan and his crew for bringing over the stage, Mr. Dan Dobner and the crew at HUHS for assisting us with hosting our event in Hartford, and all others that helped to make the evening a beautiful celebration for our graduates!
