A Note from Dr. Schroder
Dear Elm Creek Families.
As we move into the month of February and embrace this new year I want to take a moment to recognize the amazing work taking place here in Elm Creek Schools.
Our reading and Language Arts teachers have been hard at work reviewing data and different textbooks in preparation to adopt new programs for PreK-12 grades.
The middle and high school staff have adjusted their schedule to include Essential Time for everyone. This gives our students a chance to receive extra help and support everyday. Because of this we are seeing the number of students struggling or failing classes drop significantly.
Both schools just had pep rallies for positive behavior. Since coming back from winter break students have received a combined total of 700 Golden Buffalo tickets. Great work students and awesome job staff for recognizing their accomplishments.
Now that our strategic plan has been adopted we are working on a timeline for those goals and will be communicating that out later this semester. One of the first and largest goals included in this plan is an after school program and we are already working on this.
Our elementary school continues to move forward and on schedule. Thanks to Nate from BD construction and all the trades that have put in so much time and work in that building. Below are some recent pictures and my latest video update.
Have a great weekend everyone!

Once done, Seniors get announced each with their parent(s) and both will come out on the floor.
