Food Distribution at Everton Elementary

The Fayette County Food Policy Council will be distributing prepacked boxes of food at Everton Elementary School on Wednesday, March 3rd. The boxes are part of the USDA: Farm to Family program. Any resident in the Everton district may receive the food. This is a drive through distribution and will run very similar to our car rider dismissal. As cars pull up to the school, a volunteer will place the box of food in the car. The distribution will run from 3:30-5:00. Please do not begin lining up until 3:00, so that our students may be dismissed safely before any other vehicles are present. Below is a link to a flyer you can print as a reminder or give to a neighbor who would benefit from the food.

We had several days of E-learning in February. E-learning days are to help students stay up to date on what they are learning at school. Attendance is taken on E-learning days based on students completing the assignments. Students have two days to complete their work from E-learning days, and it is the school district's procedure to count students as absent if they have not turned in their work in that time.

Dr. Seuss

Dr. Seuss is having a birthday! We will be celebrating the birthday with special dress days based on the books by Dr. Seuss during the first week of March. Included is a flyer that outlines the dress for each day.
