Advancing Our Mission Grant From the Diocese

Advancing Our Mission Grant - Hear Ye! Hear Ye! The Advancing our Mission Grant application is now available. All school personnel are encouraged to apply for the Advancing Our Mission Grant. All grants are due by December 2, 2016. If you received an Advancing Our Mission grant last year, your final report is due byDecember 15, 2016. You must submit your final report in order to be eligible to apply for a new Advancing Our Mission grant. CLICK HERE for the grant application.

Catholic Textbook Project Essay Contest:

The Catholic Textbook Project’s Third Annual History Essay Contest for Catholic students in Grades 5 through 12 has officially launched. This year’s contest runs fromSeptember 13 through submission deadline on Friday, December 16, 2016. Winners will be announced during Catholic Schools Week in early 2017. The essay contest is sponsored by Catholic Textbook Project (CTP), publishers of fresh, highly-praised history textbooks for Catholic students.CLICK HERE for more information

Living the Good News Conference

Living the Good News Conference - Registration for the 2016 Living the Good News Conference of the Diocese of Austin is now open! This conference, to be held on November 5, 2016, provides wonderful opportunities for Catholic school staff to delve into what is means to serve the least among us. Teacher certification credit will be available.

Region 13 Math - There are several opportunities for professional growth in elementary mathematics during the fall of 2016. CLICK HERE to learn more about our workshops, guest speakers, GT update for math, and online fraction course. There's something for everyone!

Free PD: The Way, the Truth, the Life: Freedom in Christ: Sophia Institute, in partnership with the Catholic Schools Office, is offering this free program for school teachers, home-school parents, Catechists and DRE's. The event will he held November 4th from 9 AM - 3 PM, lunch will be provided. In addition, every participant will received a certificate of completion for 6 hours of professional development. High School Economics: Economic Indicators

This webinar will present lesson ideas for teaching GDP, Inflation, and unemployment and various ways these economic fundamentals can be presented to students in a manner that they can understand.
