High Reliability School - Parent Survey

Our campus is working to attain a recognition as a High Reliability Organization. A high reliability organization (HRO) is an organization with predictable and repeatable systems that support consistent operations while catching and correcting potentially problematic or dangerous errors before they happen.

As part of the process, we want to analyze your perception regarding the leading indicators for Level 1 - A Safe and Collaborative Culture. Please complete this survey to the best of your ability. We realize that we will need to address and improve some of the indicators and we will use the data from this survey to determine our next steps and timelines.

Thank you in advance for taking the time to provide us this much needed feedback. We appreciate all you do to support our students and our campus.

Student Placement Form for the 2022/23 School Year

It's time for us to work on class placement for the upcoming school year. In order to help us with this process, we would like to give you an opportunity to provide us any information that will help us make decisions about your child's placement. While most children transition easily from grade to grade, we would also like to know if there are any special physical or emotional circumstances that we need to be aware of. Please take a moment and let us know on the lines below.

Due to individual student needs, it is impossible to honor specific requests for teachers. Please refrain from requesting specific teachers by name as the classroom composition, programs and learning needs are our top priorities.

The information you provide will remain confidential and will be viewed only by me and our counselors Mrs. Cheatham and Ms. Smith.

Be sure to click the submit button when you're finished.

Thank you

Dr. English

Making a Reservation for Lunch

https://www.signupgenius.com/go/30E0A4EA4AA2AA5F85-april

Use the above link for making a lunch reservation. Please sign up for each grade level if you have multiple students. You may only sign up 1 time per month in order to allow more families to attend lunch.

Early Registration

We are now accepting registrations for the 2022/23 school year. If you have a child at home who will be attending Stewart next year, please begin the registration process online. Please also communicate this with your friends, family and neighbors. We want to get as many children registered as possible before this school year ends. This really helps us make staffing plans for a new school year.

Contact our registrar Karen Scambray by phone or at kscambray@conroeisd.net

Traffic Concerns During Dismissal

We have been seeing several parents picking up students on the side of the road next to the school. Some parents are making u-turns on Woodforest Parkway, which can potentially put students and other drivers at risk. Please refrain from doing this. We realize that our Mustangs have many after school activities and time can be a concern. We really try to make our car line run smoothly and efficiently. Students released as a biker/walker should be students who walk or ride their bike home from school.

Summer School Opportunities

Conroe ISD will be offering a variety of summer school opportunities for students this summer form June 8th- July 1st! If you are interested in tuition based programs for enrichment for your student please contact Amanda Cheatham- acheatham@conroeisd.net for more information!

- Fine Arts Enrichment ($150)- Art, music, orchestra, and choir programs

- Robotics ($130)

- Gifted and Talented Enrichment ($150)

- Academic summer school allocations are determined based on STAAR performance, reading level, and teacher recommendations. You will be contacted if your child meets the criteria for academic summer school.

Thank You!

Thank you Woodforest Church for the Pay Day breakfasts you provide for our staff. They are so yummy, and we love it!

STAAR Testing in May - Closed Campus

Our campus will be closed for visitors to prepare for and administer the STAAR tests between May 9th - 12th. Please let your child's teacher know if they have a birthday on any of these days. We will do our best to make sure the day will be special for them.

GT Expo for our Gifted Learners

Please join us for our annual Stewart GT Expo on May 16 at 1:30PM! We invite you to view and fully experience your child’s TPSP project that they have been diligently completing throughout the school year. This will also be a great opportunity for all of our Gifted Learners to present in front of others - what a great lifelong skill! We will have “3 Stars and a Wish” comment cards to provide all students with constructive feedback on what they did well, and one bit of advice on how they could have made an amazing presentation even better. We would love for all attendees to provide this feedback to our kiddos to help them grow in their presentation skills. We are incredibly proud of all of the hard work that your child has dedicated to their project! This will be an exciting day for us all!
