Padlet!
Using Padlet at School and at Home!
What is Padlet?
Padlet is a website (and now an app, too!) that is essentially an online bulletin board. Students can post responses, or can create their own Padlets.
How I have used Padlet in my classroom!
Padlet at Home
During the snow days, I sent home some Padlet links for the students to complete at home!
Padlet at School
During literacy centers, students used QR codes to answer questions about a book we read whole group!
Padlet to Show What You Know
Students got in groups, created math problems and uploaded them to Padlet. Using QR codes, the other students solved the problems and 'rated' their problems.
Features of Padlet
Padlet can create...
- A QR code with a direct link to the post
- Screenshots in PDF or picture form to save the post
On Padlet you can...
- Change the background and layout
- Write posts anonymously, or require a name
- Create PRIVATE boards, only accessible through a link or QR code
Here is an example of how you can add multiple types of responses!
Now it's your turn!
