SMART GOALS
S- I want to get a 75% average in my final report card for grade 11 Advanced Functions Math course
M- I can get 75% easily just by studying everyday. One of my problems is finishing homework but now I know how important your homework so I will complete all my homework when assigned. Also Usually I drop a bit before exams but that's because I study 3 days before the exam but I will study and re read my notes 2-3 weeks before because its important to be prepared and study.
A- The actions I will take is going on my class more often to look over the lessons that my teacher taught, I will do all my homework very occasionally giving my self a break, and lastly I will be more prepared for my exam
R- This goal is very realistic because all I really need to do is not be lazy and do my work. Also I need to focus more in class.
T- The plan is to get in to a university where they give a lot of homework so if I'm lazy now it'll become a habit. To stop laziness becoming a habit I have to work on it now. My goal is to break this habit in Grade 11 Math and continue this until I'm done studying. But for smaller goals I guess the time frame would be until I'm done math in grade 11.
Volunteering goals
S- My goal for volunteering is to help at least 20 dogs in India by grade 12.
M- In India their is over 3 million homeless dogs and when I go to India in the summer of grade 11 I want to help at least 20 dogs. I can do this because my family has huge land with lots of farm land and my cousin who lives there is a veterinarian. We can give it the shots we need to and give it food, water and shelter. I think is the perfect volunteer goal because my uncle owns a dog shelter near my house in India called " Ram's nayie (dog) mane (house)" and he needs help. Also the farm needs dogs to shepherd the animals so the dogs will be super happy shepherding.
A- I will be able to live in my house in India so I'm very close to the dog house. I will go every day and feed and train the dogs to shepherd since I have good experience with dogs.
R- This goal is realistic because I live close to the dog shelter, My uncle runs the organization so I have a good relationship with the owner. I'm good with dogs. There are so many dogs out there that I can help at least 20 with food and water. I will just have to not give up in the training because training dogs can sometimes be frustrating.
T- I want to achieve this goal by the summer of 2017. After I give my uncle a hand with the finances because I'm working for free he can hire people and make his organization bigger and continue to help dogs in need

Pros And Cons Mechanical Engineering
Cons And Pros Of Being A Mechanical Engineer
Although mechanical engineers do receive favorable advancement opportunities, these don't come easy. With the exception of self-employed mechanical engineers, the best-paying jobs in the field often come from large or multinational corporations, whose working environments have become increasingly competitive due to recent economic conditions. I would try to get a lot of experience before applying for a job. Another con is that a mechanical engineer faces is the unpredictability of the workload. Engineering work usually varies from week to week. For instance, in a manufacturing plant, a mechanical engineer does routine maintenance and process control work in one week, while the next week sees him working on another project. A more dynamic person may find this interesting, but for someone who prefers a routine workload may find it difficult to handle. They’re really is no solution to this unless you can cope with the hours, so I would recommend you should not apply for this job unless you can be ready for schedule change. IF you don’t Some Pros are, if you get a job your starting pay can be very good about 30 k more than the average minimum wage job. Advancement is a major factor in mechanical engineering as more than 70% of mechanical engineer’s with more than 10 years of experience go on to buying their own company and starting their own private business. A good business knowledge is recommended for this job. All though mechanical engineering can be hard in the start if you stick by it and get experience it can be worth it in the long run.
