We hope you enjoyed your weekend. We’re 12 days away from winter break, BUT we have fun-filled weeks ahead! Please be aware of a few reminders!
🎨Friday, December 8th, 5:00 PM- 7:00 PM Winter Exhibition of Learning
Prepare to be dazzled as we proudly present our much-anticipated Winter Exhibition of Learning, where creativity takes center stage and our students showcase their learning and artistic brilliance! Come and relish in community, fun, and joy!
Here is the rundown of events:
- 9:00 AM-9:30 AM: K-4 Music Show-Outdoors, led by Sam Mell
- 5:00 PM: Doors Open!
- 5:00 PM-7:45 PM: Every classroom, art space, outside space, and hallway are all open for your viewing and participation! Check out your student's work, as well as any other classroom! See the student and parent makers and pick up some fun stuff! Also, Hanukkah Menorah Lighting Ceremony!

- 5:15 PM: 6th Grade Dance
- 5:30 PM: 5th Grade Music
- 5:45 PM: 7th Grade Dance
- 6:00 PM: 6th Grade Music

Exhibition of Learning Schedule of Events!
Families, we hope that each of you come to Exhibition even for a short bit! This is one of the biggest school events of the year!
Here is the rundown of events:

Other Logistics:
- Enter only through Elm Alley.
- Pick up your students from the cafeteria if they are in aftercare. Students will be in the cafeteria from 4:30 PM-6:00 PM- then bring them into the Exhibition!
- Food for sale: Pizza, tea, California State Cookies ( Fundraiser for 4th-grade trip to Coloma), and more!
- Did your family make a ceramic cup at Family Arts Night in October? They will be on display in the main hallway- be sure to pick it up and have some tea with Apothecary for the People
- Students MUST stay with their family during this evening. There is no supervision outside by staff.

Important Updates for the School Year
- FAMILIES- if you are parking on Pierce st in the WHITE ZONE then you are preventing bus access for students with special needs. PLEASE stop parking there- this space does not belong to us.
- Parents need all of the new driving/chaperone requirements. Families that have been here since kinder (and now are in MS) still do not have the minimum for bodily injury. This is important- please update!
- Please come to the Elm Alley gate (not Turk) between the hours of 9am and 3:20pm.
- Families, please update your contact information ( address and phone numbers) with Roberta at rfudim@creativeartscharter.org. This is so important in support of your child(ren)!

School Tour Support: There’s one final tour in January! Be present at the school tour, so that prospective parents can ask questions. It's great to have parents who have been here since kindergarten, AND parents who started later on! Sign up here.

EVERYDAY FUNDRAISING

Have you booked your session for December 7? See the details below for signing up. Cut Arts Virtual Fundraising event on zoom. Sign up to have a silhouette artist create an image of your child. You will receive these in time for the gifting! Sign up here:

The virtual appointments are 10 minutes long and they will need to sign up for one appointment per child (pets are welcome too). The original silhouette is included for $35 and ships free. They can add on duplicates ($15) and frames (starting at $25) during their session with Karl and we invoice for those items after the event. Shipping is still free with add-on items.

Sloat Garden Center's Growing Up Green Fundraising event is the the last one of the calendar year. Purchase garden items and mention our school at checkout. Sloat with donate 10-20% of your proceeds depending upon how many families also shop!
LOST & FOUND
The lost and found is cleared out at the end of every month.
Lost and Found is located just inside the west entrance off the yard.
Please come by before then to look for your family's items.
