Cultivating Genius: Our Gifts, Our Glory!
Wednesday, December 16th
From the Desk of the CEO & Principal
Greetings Global Academies Families and Staff-
We hope this message finds you and your loved ones safe, well and enjoying a snowy afternoon. With two school days remaining until Winter Break, this week's communicator is the last one of 2020. As this very challenging year comes to a close, we have been reflecting on the ways that it has strengthened us.
You faced obstacles, many of which no one could have predicted, and you did it with grace, compassion and resilience. You should be very proud of the the work you have done as parent partners and we are certainly thankful for your support. Our Virtual Global program shines because of the collective effort of parents, staff and scholars!
My hope is that, whether your family celebrates the holidays or not, the next two weeks are a time of rest, rejuvenation and quality time with those you love.
Over the break we will be hosting GLA's first Dance-a-thon fundraiser (details below). We hope your scholar attends! Scholars officially return to school on Wednesday, January 6th at 8:30am. We look forward to welcoming 2021 and reaching new milestones together.
Wishing you health, happiness, and peace during this season and through the coming year.
Sincerely,
Dr. Naomi Johnson Booker, CEO/Executive Director
Ms. Shoshana Tyler, Principal
