  • Have COHERENCE to high quality instruction.
  • Deliver quality learning EXPERIENCES for students.
  • Build positive and productive RELATIONSHIPS with students and families.

United Way The last day for United Way contribution forms to be turned in is Monday. Please consider contributing to this great organization. Forms may go in my mailbox.

Power of Play There will be a full-day training for the Power of Play on November 27th and 28th. We will be sending 3 different teachers each day for to learn about the importance of play and how we can facilitate the physical, social, and emotional development of students during recess, especially during indoor recess in the colder months. If you are interested, please email Mr. Lewis. The training is for K-4 classroom teachers who are interested in bringing what they learn back to share with the rest of the staff.

Safety & Security Classroom and area doors should be locked when students are present. Please be sure to relock a door after entering or leaving a room. Teacher classroom key will unlock the cafeteria doors. If you notice an issue with doors locking, please let Mr. Lewis know.

Social Emotional Learning Tip of the Week

How Emotions Affect Learning, Behaviors, and Relationships is the first of 5 posts about the film "Inside Out" by Lori Desautels. Very good!

Too often we dwell on & complain about small stuff. Stuff that in the big scope of things really doesn't matter. Look for the good of today. The most obvious? If you are reading this you woke up this morning. What is there really to complain about? #culturize

If you have not already, read Chapter 3 & 4 of CULTURIZE

Device Damage Logs Everyone should be completing the digital device log each week at this point. If you are not, I will begin sending you an email reminder. I will be sending reminders to those that are not completing their logs.
