The picture above show what the Industrial Revolution looked like and how it effected the environment around.
The Industrial Revolution was the time in history when people in London then in people in America started to Industrialize to make work faster and easier to get more products out faster.

James Watt invented the cotton gin in 1794 for the process of pulling seeds out of raw cotton to be sold faster and easier so land owners wouldn't need as many slaves.

James Watt invented the Steam Engine in 1698 to make machines work on steam instead of human power
{which is slower compared to a engine} to increase the production of products.
Thomas Edison
Thomas Edison invented the light bulb in 1879 to give people electrical light instead of having to use little candles and breakable gas lamps.

In the photo above Addie Card is working in a spinning factory at the age of 12 {started working at age 8} and living with her grandma and older sister Anna {age 14} in one household with a low payment each.

These kids above are shown at the spinning factory
{where Addie works} behind them. you can start to notice that some kids start to work at very young ages and keep working up til adult hood and/or mirage. You can also notice that most of the kids have dirty and shabby clothes rather than clean and fancy cloths to work in the factory.

As you can see in the photo above that little kids would work in these very factories at early ages even though they where very dangerous and messy. {as seen on the floor}

The Assembly line was invented in 1913 to make it easier to produce more of a product 10 x faster then only a few experts would make in a day and you can pay the workers less because they where not "experts"
