Tech Tip #20 - Sponge Activities
January 15, 2015 - BEST District
What are Sponge Activities?
Sponge Activities help to "soak up" every moment in classroom while reducing any wasted time (Madeline Hunter, 2004). A great time to conduct a Sponge Activity is after students are finished with an in-class assignment, during a transition, or as a wrap-up. The great thing about a Sponge Activity is that the students should be able to complete it without your direct support.
