Celebrate School Library Month With Us!

April is School Library Month. Come visit our library and see all the new books in our collection! Plan a library collaboration with our librarians. Browse our collection or see our students in action. Below are some of the new books recently added to our collection.

Do you have an aspiring writer in your class? Students selected for the Youth Communication summer program will get one on one mentoring from a professional editor, write and revise stories, go on field trips and make new friends. Deadline is May 20, 2016. Apply online.

Various museums in New York City

Many museums in NYC are offering special pds on June 9th. The American Museum of Natural History is offering one on connecting museum resources to the science curriculum. The Museum of the City of New York is offering a workshop entitled Drawing A Line: Art and Activism in NYC. You can share best practices and network with educational innovators at the EdXEd NYC at Hudson High School in Manhattan. The Morgan Library is offering an all day workshop on learning about Book Arts and incorporating the visual arts into earth science, ELA and social studies curriculum. All conferences require AP approval and registration.
