Hamilton Middle Super Bowl Reading Challenge
Hamilton Middle School challenged West Rowan Middle School, in Salisbury, North Carolina, just outside of Charlotte, to a “read-off” in the spirit of friendly competition. Hamilton Middle School students defeated Carolina students by reading more pages than their competition between Wednesday, Feb. 3 and Friday, Feb. 5. The read-off agreement was reached between Hamilton Middle School Principal Dr. Christian Sawyer and West Rowen Middle School Principal Derek McCoy. Paralibrarian Carolyn Leahy shared the excitement and articles from both Channel 9 and Channel 7. Way to go Huskies!
