From the Principal...
Hello Seton Community,
In a little over a week we will be celebrating Catholic education with Catholic Schools Week. This year Catholic Schools Week will look different than in the past as we continue to fall under COVID safety protocols. Yet, we are grateful to be open and to be providing a quality Catholic education to the students of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic School.
This is typically a time when we recognize our staff, students, families, and parishes. While we cannot engage in our typical large gatherings, we will still be celebrating. Our Mid-Year Celebration will be shared in video form so that we are still able to celebrate all of our blessings and accomplishments. We will also celebrate with the following dress-up days at school.
Monday, February 1- sports team dress-up day
Tuesday, February 2- crazy hat and plaid shirt day
Wednesday, February 3- red, white, and blue day
Thursday, February 4- wacky sock and tie dye day
Friday, February 5- dress your Sunday best day
Catholic Schools Week is also when we begin our main registration push for the coming year. Registration paperwork went home at the beginning of January, but can also be found on our school site at http://www.sheboyganseton.org/registration/. If you know of a family who may be interested in Seton Catholic, please encourage them to contact the office to schedule an afterschool tour. Yard signs will also be available in the office to encourage interested families.
Thank you for being an important part of who we are as a school and as a community.
St. Elizabeth Ann Seton, pray for us.
Sincerely,
Dr. Stephanie Nardi, Principal

COVID-19 Information
You may have heard in the news that the CDC has released options to reduce the length of COVID-19 quarantines. I have attached the Sheboygan County Recommendations for your review. Seton Catholic will be using those recommendations as listed below. We will maintain a 14 day quarantine as we are in a setting with many people and the potential for spread. Please be diligent with safety precautions as we are hoping to stay face to face for your children.
14 day no symptoms, no test option:
This is a 14-day quarantine from Seton School. The quarantine begins with the start of symptoms or the day of last contact with a positive case. The student can return to school without a doctor note after 14 days and if he/she has no symptoms. These days will be tracked in the office.
7 day no symptoms, negative test option:
Quarantine can end after day 7 of quarantine with a negative test and no symptoms if the test was taken no sooner than day 6 of the quarantine. The quarantine begins with the start of symptoms or day of last contact with a positive case. The student can return to school with a dated confirmation of a negative test and no symptoms. The days will be tracked in the school office.
Please note that household contacts are handled differently as noted on the recommendations below.

Seton Faith Development Committee
This school year, the committee would like to begin work on the following three goals as determined by our Seton School Board.
1. With the assistance of our Faith Development Committee we will develop a comprehensive plan for faculty faith formation that includes at least one annual opportunity for retreat and and one annual opportunity for service by the end of the 2020-2021 academic year to begin in the 2021-2022 academic year.
2. With the assistance of our Faith Development Committee we will develop a plan for at least one student-led Mass at each of our three Northside Parishes to begin in the spring of 2021. (May need to be delayed until the fall of 2021.)
3. With the assistance of our Faith Development Committee we will explore at least three options for parent faith formation to begin in the 2021-2022 academic year.
If you are interested in joining this good work or would like more information, please contact Dr. Nardi at nardis@sheboyganseton.org.
