Parent Night Follow-Up
Thank you to our families that attended Parent Night this week. It was great seeing families back in the building!
As we mentioned at Parent Night, Standards-based grading information can be found on our schools website. There you will find each grade level's report card template and proficiency scales that will be used for both ELA and Math.
Continue to communicate with your child's teacher. Belonging is one of our goals this year and we want you to be a part of your child's learning.
If you have any feedback on Parent Night, please email Mr. Walshire (bwalshire@millburn24.net)
Safety Week
Safety Week will be the week of October 3rd-7th. During the week, students will run through our safety drills, which includes evacuation, severe weather, intruder, and evacuation while riding the bus. All of these drills will be announced in advanced to staff and students. We will also conduct an unannounced evacuation drill later in the week. Newport Fire and the Lake County Sheriff's Department will be on hand to assist.
We encourage families to also review their emergency procedures at home. Ready.gov is a great place to find resources to help you plan out our procedures so that you and all of your families members are prepared.
