MADCOS Computing Festival
14th December 2016
On the day...
Last week we hosted a Computing Festival for Primary school pupils and some of our Year 7s. The day was split into 2 sessions and was run by the Tablet Academy. The aim of the day was to engage and challenge pupils and teachers-alike with some of the latest educational technologies. The activities included: Collaborating in Minecraft, developing online games, programming Lego robots and working with artificial intelligence. Here’s what some of our pupils had to say about the day:
What the pupils said...
- I enjoyed finding out how much coding and computing can help us with everything like making a blind man able to understand what is happening all around him. Matthew.
