Spotlight on...3rd Grade
On December 22nd, third graders participated in a day full of winter wonderland fun! They used their math skills to unlock the box, practiced context clues with Pig the Elf, and read holiday books by the fire. Students also had a snowball fight to review their vocabulary words and wrote creative elf stories. It was the perfect way to spend our final day together before winter break!
Spreading Kindness All Year Long
Our students are recognized each week on the announcements and get to stop by the office for treats from Mrs. Washam. There are also two kind fifth-grade leadership students that volunteer each week to spread birthday cheer to our staff.
Ella Mangeney and Andi Eksterowicz head down to Mrs. Svanson’s room each day there is a staff birthday to celebrate and pick up a card. They venture off to deliver a “birthday-gram” filled with bubbles and well wishes! Our Bobcat Staff thanks these two young ladies for the continued kindness and happiness they bring to our grown-up Bobcats.
This is one of the many milestones organized and celebrated through our own staff Sunshine Club. Mrs. Bell and Mrs. Svanson co-Chair Bedminster Sunshine, and thank the staff for their participation all year long!

A Piece of Bedminster in Antarctica
Jean, our scientist friend from Antarctica sent a picture to let us know that our flag from Bedminster (FINALLY) is flying in the penguin colony!
This flag started its journey in the Fall of 2019. It flew by airplane to Antarctica but got hung up in the postal system in New Zealand. By the time it arrived in Antarctica, Jean had left because of Covid. It forwarded to her home in CA and then back to me in PA in 2020! She had not been able to return to Antarctica for research until this year, so, Mrs. Volak sent the flag back down to fly with the penguins this Nov! This flag has flown many miles and today, Bobcats, it flies proudly in Antarctica!
