Hawk Talk
April 2019
Spring Is Here!
Spring is in the air and we have A LOT going on at Maple Hill Elementary! This month is packed with state testing, enrichment, parent education, and Spring Break.
We just wrapped up our annual Hawk Walk and the kids had a blast dressing up to the Disney "Cars" theme. This event was made possible with the help of some dedicated volunteers. Thank you to Natalie Johnson, Tamica Avila, and Carolyne Morris for organizing the event. A "shout out" to Andy & Nicole Smith, Lisa Cheng, Rick Cahalan, and Jose Correa for helping with the setup/cleanup of the tracks. Remember our goal for the Hawk Walk is to raise $30,000. Currently, we are at approximately $13,000. Our school would love to purchase some iPads, Google Virtual Reality Googles, and much more to enhance our learning and engagement. Thank you to all of our families who have already donated.
It's not too late to donate! Please see below for more details.
Looking forward to an eventful April and wishing all of our Maple Hill Families an exciting and restful Spring Break!
Proud to Lead,
Ms. Morris
