7/8 Treble
The 7/8 Treble sang "Sleigh Ride" and "When You Believe." The audience was amazed by how wonderful they performed! Great voices, 7/8 Treble!
Cadet Choir
"A Winter Carol" was performed by the Cadet Chorus. Even though this group is the beginning choir, their voices were strong! They have a great future in the Glenridge Chorus program!
Show Ensemble
A popular song was up next. This up-beat song "Mirrors" from Justin Timberlake, was performed beautifully but with a slower beat. The show choir is an auditioned group.
Boys' Choir
The Boys Choir were as charming as always. They dazzled the audience with "Jingle bells Celebration" and "Can You Hear the Bells?" They sang with such passion. Well done, Mr. Astone and gentlemen!
Glenridge Singers
The famous Glenridge Singers performed "Still, Still, Still," "Christmas Time Is Here," and "Ding Dong Merrily On High!" for their performance. The group looked great and sounded even better!
The Combined Chorus
All the choirs got up on stage for the finale performance and sang; "Shalom Chaveriem" "Carol Of The Bells" and "Give Us Hope." It was wonderful!
The GMS Band Does it Again!
Jazz Band
The Jazz Band played three songs. The first song was "Blues for Mr. B." After the beginning band played their songs, the Jazz Band played "Louie Louie." Then their final song was "Buffalo Head," with very special guest, Rick Sweat. He is one of the World's top drummers. GMS was lucky to have him perform with our students!
Beginning Band
These young stars rocked the house with their number of holiday and traditional songs. A few examples include "Jingle Bells," "Claire de Lune," and "Aluette." The Beginners also played "Hot Cross Buns," "Marry Had a Little Lamb," "Go Tell Aunt Rhode," and "London Bridge."
Symphonic Band
These advanced band students from 7th and 8th grade played "Can-Can," "U.S. Artillery March," and "Twas the Concert Before Christmas." They were the final band to play in the concert. Finally the whole GMS Band played a final song, "Deck the Halls."
Concert Band
Concert band played the songs: "Imperium", "Buglers" and "Do you hear what I hear?" These were all music to our ears. These students were in tune and together every step of the way.
Practice
It takes lots of things to be in the band, but one of the most important ones is practice. Each morning before school, you can hear many sounds coming from the Band Room. Many members practice for hours before and after school. Now that's dedication!
Mr. Sullivan
Our band director has done it again. You don't realize how many kids are in band until you see them all together and at once, like at the concert. Mr. Sullivan teaches each and every one of them, knows their strengths and helps them improve every day.

The Beautiful Sounds of our Orchestra
Chamber Orchestra
The orchestra program at our school has two concerts a year; one in winter and another in the spring. In this picture, we have our most advanced orchestra group. This is the Chamber Orchestra and they perform at Disney, Universal, and go to a musical competition every year.
Mr. Dolinsky
Our awesome orchestra program is run by Mr. John Dolinsky. Mr. Dolinsky has been working in the school orchestra program for 14 years. He has performed with some of the most famous orchestras all around the world.
Words
At the end of every concert, Mrs. Dolinsky likes to have a student in the program come to the stage and talk about what it is like in the orchestra program. The students talk about what it takes to learn the different instruments, the practice and also how rewarding it is to perform with the group.
Intermediate Orchestra
Our Intermediate class are playing their holiday pieces using various instruments including: violins, violas, cellos and double basses. You may see them carrying them around campus. Some of them are huge!
Intermediate Orchestra
Many students are in the Intermediate Orchestra. They are a dedicated group and spend many hours practicing. Some even take private lessons. This is the Intermediate Orchestra waiting for their turn to go on stage.
Chamber Orchestra
For the finale of the show, Mr. Dolinsky had our most advanced players close out the show. They played "Instant Recruiting Concert Medley", "Classical Reflections" and tunes from Bach.
