After closely researching on what Fresno State has to offer and after being admitted just a few weeks ago, I truly believe that this school will fulfill my needs. First of all, Fresno State offers the major I wish to take: Kinesiology. Kinesiology is one of the more popular and impacted majors offered at Fresno State and ranks as one of the top school for the major since they offer both a Master's and Doctorates program after graduating from their Bachelor's program. When choosing the right college for me, location is one of the biggest factors I closely look at since I hope to gain independent experience for myself as well as have my family close to me for when I want to come home for special events and Fresno is perfectly distant enough for me to learn how to live on my own as well as have my family an hour and a half drive away from me which means they can visit me whenever they would like and I can come home without having to drive for many miles. Fresno State is also considered a local school, so many people from my high school will also end up attending there which makes me feel that a part of home will always be with me, and that I am not completely alone in the school. The fact that Fresno State is within driving access to Sequoia, Yosemite, Kings Canyon, Shaver Lake and China Peak will give me the taste of adventure I always longed to have. For the previous reasons I just stated, Fresno State is definitely one of the top schools in my list of considerations for College due to it's many attractions both physically and academically.
