Norris News!

A weekly update from campus...

February 19, 2016

Dear Norris families,

We strive to be a safe and inviting environment for all of our students each day. Many of you are aware that we practice monthly fire drills, inclement weather drills and even lock down drills. We constantly check our classrooms and pods for any unsafe items or pathways. We visit with the students about being responsible and safe members of the community.

But, did you know that we also have 32 members of our staff who are CPR and AED trained and at the ready to serve, if needed? In the spirit of wrapping up Healthy Heart month, let's take time out to thank these staff members....

Bethany Harris, Jennifer Glaze, Sarah Corrigan, Rhonda Vandercook, Kelly Strange, Taylor Brommer, Emily Stroud, Camily Teed, Sheba George, Katie Clark, Alex Hoffmeister, Carmen Hogan, Valerie Nguyen, Katrina Kyser, Kady Berridge, Megan Conn, Shannon Burkland, Ashelyn Abney, Michelle Snyder, Kristen Buhler, Rhonda Cowlishaw, Aimee Hinshaw, Michelle Mayo, Tosha Harper, Cristi Roberts, Steve Thacker, Cassie Steele, Dillon Vaughn, Susan Rosser, Violet Tsai, Kelly Bartruff, and Megan McGaughy.

Enjoy your weekend and BE SAFE!

Norris Super Stars....

We are working on our sense of community. If your child has done something unique and amazing, please tell them to stop by and tell me. I'd love to share what our Norris students are accomplishing outside of school as well as in school!

Mr. & Mrs. Norris Celebrate their 64th Anniversary!

We were so excited to help the Norris' celebrate their 64th anniversary last week. To honor them, every student signed a poster that Mrs. Abney delivered. See the picture below...
