Other Information

Attention class of 2023! Are you considering a career in Business? The Golisano Institute for Business & Entrepreneurship is an incredible cost saving alternative to most college programs. You can be nominated for an annual grant of $5000. See your school counselor for details.

Continental School of Beauty

Continental School of Beauty has been in business for over 60 years, and we have trained thousands of licensed Hairdressers, Barbers, Estheticians and Nail Specialists! Our schools are accredited by NACCAS (the National Association of Cosmetology Career Arts & Sciences), licensed by the NYS Department of Education, and recognized and guided by the U.S. Department of Education.

We would love to meet your senior level students and extend the opportunity to attend an informational session here at our Rochester Campus. This is an excellent opportunity for students that are still determining their post-graduate direction and Continental may have just the right opportunity to consider. In anywhere from 4 to 8 ½ months depending on the program, your students could be licensed and ready to enter the beauty industry and become gainfully employed. It should be noted that the U.S. Department of Labor considers all our programs to be in the “bright outlook” category.

We also offer financial aid to all who qualify in the way of grants and student loans, with classes starting in July and September. We look forward to sharing information about our industry at our scheduled info sessions and have attached a flyer for review.

Visit our website to reserve your spot at www.continentalschoolofbeauty.edu on the following dates at Continental School of Beauty, Rochester Campus 633 Jefferson Road, Rochester NY 14623.

RMSC’s camp program. They’re energetic, enthusiastic, and hardworking. Volunteers support paid

staff in camp classrooms by helping campers with projects and play, assisting with science

experiments, and preparing the classroom and supplies each day. Volunteers help provide a fun

and safe camp experience while sharing in the exploration of science!

training. Volunteers that have completed a summer with Curiosity Camps are eligible to volunteer

during consecutive school break camps.

Commitments, Responsibilities, and Benefits:

○ A minimum of two full weeks. Weeks do not need to be consecutive, but volunteers

must be available and present Monday through Friday during their scheduled weeks.

campus. 40 hours per week are applicable towards school credit/hours

requirements.

○ Mandatory training prior to the start of the summer.

opportunities.

● Develop hands-on work experience skills in an informal educational setting.
