Fully Present. March 10, 2022

Moving Along with Mrs. Maddox

Dear Jaguar Families,

Spring seemed so close, and then, another snow day!!! I hope you have enjoyed your early Spring Break kick-off, I haven't received any complaints so far??? Next week we are suppose to experience the right amount of warm air and sunshine for March, living in Kansas is awesome, let's keep our fingers crossed.

This month our students are studying the virtue of fortitude. Fortitude is sometimes pictured as a shield because it is the virtue of strength. Fortitude allows us to persevere during difficult times, even to the point of sacrifice. We have overcome many things in the past year. This year the Easter season will be another opportunity to celebrate our Lord's Resurrection, and to acknowledge the gift of hope which comes with every Easter Sunday.

Please keep our 8th grade students in your prayers, when we return they will receive the Sacrament of Confirmation. We have many other exciting things to look forward to in 4th Quarter, May will be here before you know it. Enjoy Spring Break! Don't forget to celebrate St. Joseph's Feast Day on March 19th, as well as the birthday of our favorite Director of Awesomeness, Mrs. Pigott! Looking forward to being Fully Present with each of you soon.

With a Grateful Heart,

Jodie Maddox

Auction Parking Spots

Thank you to the families who purchased "Reserved Parking" at the Auction in November. These spaces are located on the west side of the building, next to the handicapped spaces. These spots are convenient for drop-off/pick-up, BUT they are only for the Auction winners with the highest bid. Thank you to our Auction committee for marking each spot with the winning families' name.

CYO Celebration Party

CYO is having their first annual celebration party on Saturday, March 26 from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. The event will have a 30 minute recognition ceremony honoring a few exceptional coaches, referees, and long-time CYO volunteers. From 8 to 11 there will be music, drinks, and heavy appetizers. This event is super economical and any funds raised will go to CYO scholarships. The event is being hosted by Nativity, but all the schools from the diocese will be in attendance. Register on the CYO website.
