Back in July 2018, Band Director David Waters received word that the the Muscle Shoals High School Wind Ensemble had been selected to perform at the 2019 Alabama Music Educators Professional Development Conference to be held at the Birmingham-Jefferson Convention Complex (BJCC) January 17-19, 2019. In the acceptance letter, AMEA Assistant Executive Director Rusty Logan said, "This is indeed an honor and a testament to your teaching and we anticipate your performance will be a highlight of the conference." This special performance is set for Thursday, January 17 at 1:45 at the BJCC in Birmingham.

A senior class photo will be taken on January 16 at 9:45 a.m., followed by a senior class meeting with guidance counselors. This will be the next-to-last group meeting seniors will have with counselors before graduation! Also for seniors, continue to check your school email as counselors continue to send very important information regarding scholarship and college opportunities.
