The Bronze Snake
Help your children see that God takes sin seriously, but He also graciously provided a solution for sin: Jesus.
Unit Key Passage
Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous! Do not tremble or be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go?
Unit 7 Session 2
Main Point: God told His people to look at the bronze snake.
Big Picture Question: Whom can we trust? We can trust God.
Christ connection: The Israelites sinned, and God sent snakes to punish them. Anyone who was bitten by a snake could look at the snake on the pole and live. We sin, too. Our sin separates us from God. We can look to Jesus to save us and give us life forever with God.
This Sunday was a lot of fun! We learned about God's love for us and our unwillingness to trust Him. We reenacted the bible story and the children did a great job at participating. They were very desirous to learn. Praise God! praying for your weeks, love you family.

We were so blessed by your keiki this Sunday. As we made the connection between the bronze snake and Jesus on the cross, we also focused on a thankful heart rather than a complaining heart. During one of the activities we sat in a circle and passed a heart around while each child shared something in their life that they were thankful to God for. This was such a special moment. Their answers were so sincere and the class was so kind as they sat and listened to each other. Thank you for faithfully coming to church. Remember to review Joshua 1:9 with your kiddos!
Britany & Aletheia
(Ages 7-11)Aloha families,
Thank you guys so much for being faithful to God in weekly coming to church and having the right priorities as God shall always come first! Really we do thank you for being an example in that way! This week as we realized the consequence of our sin and that the consequence was put on our Savior, please may we all show the giddy excitement and joy of our Savior over everything, through repentance and delighting in the good works He prepared for us.
Grace and peace from our Father in heaven,
- Bronson, Maria, and Shannon
