SEND IN :) Please

If you have any advertisements that have the cost of items: food, clothes, toys, etc. please send them in!

We are OUT of Kleenex and Pencils... these items in no way go together but, we are out! If you are out and don't mind picking these things up, it would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

So far our class has raised the most money in the school!! We have one week left!!! Send in your change (or dollars)!!! I LOVE the YMCA. I have worked Summer Camp for 10 years. It was an amazing experience and I worked my way from Counselor to Site Director to Camp Coordinator. I am taking my first summer off to spend with Knox but my nieces and nephews have been attending for 3 years!

From the YMCA Childcare
- CRES and the YMCA are working together to raise money for the YMCA's Annual Campaign by doing a Jar Wars competition between classrooms from March 14th - 25th. Last year thanks to city-wide donations nearly $15,000 raised from the campaign went to helping families from CRES be able to attend YMCA Summer Camp and Before/After School Program. Y staff will be delivering flyers to send home with students this week. Y staff will collect the jars a couple of times a week and mark each classroom's progress on posters displayed in the cafeteria. Please help encourage your students to bring in their spare change; the winning class wins a pizza party! Once the winning class is determined, Y staff will talk to that teacher, and he/she will pick the best day/time that works for their class. Thank you for your help!

Every Monday, the students will receive a $5 (fake). If they display negative behavior, they owe me $1 and have to trade in their $5 for $1. On Friday, if they still have their $5 they get to pick a coupon! They get to keep collecting what is in their bags and start with a fresh $5 every Monday!

THEY LOVE IT!! They are still getting positive reinforcement in the form of verbal praise and they are self motivated!

CRES FEST is approaching! CRES Fest is on Friday, April 22!!

CRES Fest is a family-friendly, community event that doubles as a fundraiser…a BIG one! CRES Fest proceeds account for about half of the PTO’s annual budget. The majority of money is raised through the silent auction, while food trucks and the Game Wing account for the rest.

Each class provides a silent auction basket. Our theme is BAKING!! If you are out and about and find some cool baking items, SEND THEM IN! :) We will collect all items in a basket to be auctioned off at CRES FEST!
