Happy Friday, Bobcat Families!
It has been a great week at school. We welcomed nearly 100 students back to campus and it has been wonderful! Thank you to everyone for extending your patience during arrival and dismissal as everyone learned our processes.
Next week our PE department will be hosting our Kids Heart Challenge in partnership with the American Heart Association. Information about the event is below. American Heart Association
Our PE department is very excited to announce that we officially kicked off our partnership with the American Heart Association today! We are learning about our heart muscle in P.E class and how to keep active, healthy bodies as well as how being kind helps our hearts. Students have been challenged to build happy healthy hearts while helping others with sick hearts!
Please help your children to register today at heart.org/KHC by clicking on the below link!
Please also watch the Kick-Off Video that is being shown in school during our morning announcements!

Cafe Updates
We are continuing to ask our BCE families to preorder meals when possible. When parents spend a few minutes pre-ordering their child’s lunch, it allows our cafe team to plan ahead. These forms allow us to break the meals out by the teacher and have them ready when the students come into the lunchroom and reduce the amount of time they have to spend in line. Pre-ordered meals also help us to reduce waste by only making food that is needed based on the orders.
