USING GRAPHIC NOVELS WITH CHILDREN AND TEENS
What are they?
Many different aspects about graphic novels are attractive to young readers. Graphic novels can be a powerful tool when used in the classroom. Many reluctant readers are willing to read graphic novels and enthusiastically enjoy them. Struggling readers also find graphic novels approachable and enjoyable.
The MultiMedia library has begun adding graphic novels for all grade levels and lexiles. We are attempting to add the graphic novel counterpart for popular titles.
