Insider News from Telegraph
September 2018
August Notes:
The first day of school although RAINY, still an amazing day! I think the teachers did a great job of getting to know your child. We welcomed 78 3rd graders to Telegraph Intermediate. Our first day assembly required teacher participation and a little bit of Fortnite. I hope your child has shared multiple stories over the last few weeks about school so far. This year we will focus on being a better bystander. We want to empower our students to stand up for what is right. I hope everyone has the voice to recognize and support our friends as they face decisions. We have held two assemblies on the last school day of the week to share our focus for the next week. Our first assemblies have focused on two of The 7 Healthy Habits: Being Proactive and Begin With the End in Mind. As we transition into school mode, please remember to stay connected with us by newsletters, Twitter, and other classroom communication tools (Class Dojo, Remind, etc). Teacher and students are ready to kick off September with lots of learning and growing.

News From The Office
- Reminder daily Parent Drop Off begins at 7:05 am, if you require earlier drop off please speak with Coach Wilson about Kids Korner. We ask you maintain this time as we do not have staff in the building to supervise your child.
- Parent Pick Up each day is at 2:37, we ask you pull as far forward as possible. If your child is in 5th grade I request you use the parking lot area for pick up and leave the driveway for our new 3rd parents. For the safety of your child we ask you to be patient as we dismiss our car riders each day.
- If you plan to have lunch with your child please send a note or call in the morning to order a tray. We love having family visit with us but need to accurately prepare the food for our visitors.
- Students will have opportunity to enjoy extras and ala carte items. If your child is able to purchase extras please complete and sign the form from Food Services.
- When your child is feeling under the weather or is sick please call the Office or Nurse Mandy so we may document the absence. If we do not hear from you by 8:30 we will contact you. The office staff is available from 7:00-3:30pm daily. Reminder your child must be fever free for 24 hours without medication prior to returning to school after an illness.
