Spirit Wear

We know that many of our families ordered Spirit Wear for the Spring. That Spirit Wear is in and will be distributed when families are able to get back in the school to pick up their materials. This date will come later. Thank you!

Teacher Appreciation Week - From PTO

This year for teacher appreciation week, PTO will be doing something a little different this year. We are asking for parent donations to help; we want to send our amazing teachers and TA's gift cards this year. This last month of teaching has been a new challenge for them and we would love to show them some love for stepping into this new role they have all taken on.

Please consider donating to our PTO paypal account so we can spoil and show these very deserving teachers some love.

We are also asking that students bring a little cheer to their teachers each day:

Monday, May 4: Kids read/write a letter to their teacher ( they can record it on seesaw, for those that use it)

Tuesday, May 5: draw a flower or design for your teacher

Wednesday, May 6: Send a virtual hug

Thursday, May 7: Tell your teacher a joke

Friday, May 8: Have everything turned in on time.

Mrs. Anderson, the K-3 Counselor, is available to support you and your family in any way she can. To contact her email aanderson@nvcs.school or call (970) 593-6827 ex. 2115. Spring Middle School Sports

Nighthawk Parents of MS Student Athletes,

Our athletics league, NCIL, met with all of our league Athletic Directors yesterday. With taking into consideration the Governor's order to extend school closures until 4/30 and now TSD making the decision to close for the rest of the year, the NCIL has decided to cancel the Spring Sports of Girls Soccer and Co-Ed Track.

In looking forward to the FALL Sports of Boys Soccer and Girls Volleyball, the Girls Volleyball schedule has been uploaded to the NVCS home page, and the Boys Soccer schedule will be uploaded as soon as it is received.

Middle School Registration

MIDDLE SCHOOL REGISTRATION FOR FALL 2020

Parents of next year's Middle School Students:

It's that time of year to register for fall classes! Please be watching for an email before Spring Break with a link for Middle School Course Registration. Courses in which students have a choice will be awarded on a first-come-first-served basis, so it's important to sit down with your child and complete the registration survey upon receipt. (Please also note that all parents and guardians will receive the registration email, so it's important to communicate so only one of you completes the survey.) If for some reason you do not receive the email, please contact our 4-8 Counselor for the registration survey link: Erin Jobman at ejobman@nvcs.school.

New Vision has a lot to offer for Middle School....many sports, several fun clubs, and leadership opportunities such as Student Council and National Junior Honor Society. At NVCS, we feel that we have a lot to offer our Middle School Students academically, physically, and socially in the hopes of turning out independent thinkers, lifelong learners, and well-rounded citizens. I would be excited to talk with you if you have any questions about the middle school experience at NVCS, both from a parent and a Counselor perspective!

Open Enrollment 2020 - 2021

As many of you know we are a school of choice. We rely on word of mouth, promotions, and our reputation of excellence to fill our seats and keep our school funding healthy.

As our clientele, you are our best advertisers! As we open enrollment for the 2020-2021 school year we are hosting parent information nights for prospective students and their parents. We will have many openings in grades K-8 next year and would love for you to help spread the word.

If you know of anyone who is looking for a change, or who is moving into the area please send them our way. Information about this event can also be found on our Facebook Page.
