- The Gilded age was an era of huge growth, and also of huge poverty. This lead to people wanting to use Realism to show a regular life of an ordinary during this time.
- Realism affected even how books and films are made today, today, we even expect fiction books and films to be based on our real world today (Realism).
- Realism left an important role in history, it change the perspective of people and how they lived by showing them the truth of the real world.
