Look, Listen, and Learn...

Dr. Rivera will be coming around to all schools and conducting the Look, Listen, and Learn tour. He will be at Park Street on January 22 at 3:40pm in the Media Center.

This will be your opportunity to share and give feedback regarding CO. This is completely optional.

Mac's Monthly Mission...

Your mission, if you choose to accept it is to utilize differentiated reading strategy groups (three different times).

You have to tweet using- #macsmonthlymission #parkstreetallin and @PSE_Principal showing your students in reading strategy groups (picture or video) THREE different times. Strategy groups should be differentiated (not the same strategy in each photo or video)

Mission Prize- Lunch from Panera Bread on 2/1.

Impact Check-FYI...

Three times each year Principal's, Assistant Principals, and staff members participate in an Impact check. The Impact check is designed to discuss our school's priorities, goals, vision, and progress. They are held in September, January-February, and again in May. Below is the infographic we will use during our Impact check on Tuesday.

Next Year Preference Sheet...

We will be putting preference sheets in your mailboxes this week. Please complete the form with your grade level/content area preference for next year. This will help us to ensure we are of your choices prior to planning any grade level moves for next year.

Coaches Corner...

From Heather Welch:

Use Google Forms to create, store, and share collaborative lesson plans, surveys, parent information, quiz students, data collection and assessments. My favorite is to create a form for my conferring notes! I can put the link on my device/phone and enter notes as I am conferring with students.

All the information put into the forms (like the surveys) are automatically put into a spreadsheet for you that is sortable! So fast, easy and all my records are together in one place!

Staff Shout Outs..

1. Mr. Orr

He is the heartbeat of Park Street. A rare gem. He goes above and beyond the call every single day. He is a beautiful example of flexibility, graciousness and tolerance. A roll model for boys and men of every age and stage. Thank you for everything you do to make Park Street run smoothly. I value you immensely. Mrs. Bryant

2. Rebecka Kern

For always being there, for always having an answer or being sure to find the correct answer, for going above and beyond, for taking initiative, and always maintaining a smile through it all!

3. 2nd grade team

Thank you for the quick turn-around with the data cards. Your hard-work and collaboration is appreciated!

4. Kindergarten Paras

HUGE SHOUT OUT to Ms. Brown, Ms. Cheney, Ms. Grogan, Ms. Morten, & Ms. Sims for stepping up and taking shifts to support the cafeteria while our two monitors were out. We appreciate what you do everyday for our kiddos in and out of the classroom!

5. Ms. Thomas and Lisa Cabrera

I wanted to thank these two amazing educators for going above and beyond for two of our students. They went out of their way (and out of their pocket) to ensure that students and their family had a happy break. I know they never do it for the recognition but I wanted to make sure they knew that I saw and was in awe of their continued love and passion for the well-being of all students.
