Mrs. Hladun's Tidings

The APEX Fun Run is this week! We hope your students have been coming home and telling you about the fun they are having with their APEX Athlete (Nate the Great, DJ JJ or The Flash) and about the important leadership lessons they are learning while becoming APEX STRONG (Selfless, Trustworthy, Refuel, Overcome, Next level, Grateful)! We appreciate our PTC for bringing this awesome experience back to our campus and we thank you in advance for the fundraising support - all our proceeds will be divided between technology and school safety initiatives. Big kudos to Mrs. Brothers, who is working as our site coordinator for this year's run.

The APEX Fun Run is on Wednesday, March 13th. The Fun Run will be in the cafeteria due to the likelihood of a muddy field. We need help on the day of the Fun Run. We need 5 people to mark shirts, 2 people to run the water station, and you are also welcome to come and cheer on your student. Thank you for all your help and support!! Lost & Found

We will be donating our lost at found at the end of this week. We will take advantage of the better weather this week to put our lost & found outside so families can look through for their items. All remaining items will be donated to a local school in Auburn that can benefit from our extra jackets and sweatshirts.

Please remember that we look at every item multiple times for a name and we make every effort to return labeled items to students. Take a minute to put your kiddo's name on the tag of their outerwear, lunch boxes and water bottles so that we can get it back to him/her.

Spring Picture Day - Tuesday, 3/19, Rain or Shine!

Outdoor Picture Day is scheduled for Tuesday, March 19th, 2019!

Rain or Shine, we will be there! If there is rain, we will photograph indoors on a high-key white background.

Just fill out the "opt in" form (click here for the opt in form) and send with your child on picture day. You'll be able to order pictures after they are taken, but here is the spring picture form so you can preview the options for packages.
