Hello again from the Physical Education Department at Haynesfield Elementary. I have some exciting news to share about the upcoming semester at Haynesfield. We will be receiving a student teacher in physical education starting Monday, January 9th. His name is Louis Sharp and he is currently at King University working on his Master’s Degree in Education. He is also an assistant coach on the King men’s soccer team. He will be with us until spring break.

This January will begin our unit on Hockey and will continue participating in winter sports. We will also introduce jump rope in January and kick off our annual Jump Rope for Heart event which will take place in February. I look forward to the new semester and hope our students will enjoy it as well.

-Thank you for keeping driveway's of nearby homes and businesses clear during arrival and dismissal.

-Arrival is from 7:50-8:10.

-Dismissal begins at 3:10 is usually complete by 3:25ish.

-Please call our main office number, 423-652-9292, if your child needs to be absent for any reason.
