December CAPP Newsletter

CAPP is so Sweet!

Our theme for December is Gingerbread and Sweet Treats! This month we will use themed activities to learn about different musical concepts, visual arts, dance and tumbling concepts, and preschool learning targets in a fun and engaging way.

Here's an overview of our learning targets for December:

Music- I can create different rhythms.

Visual Arts- I can learn about and create art in the style of Vincent Van Gogh.

Language Arts- I can name the synonym (similar meaning) of a word. I can identify things that start with the letters G, V, and D.

Math- I can compare objects using the terms more and less.

We present our learning targets as "I statements" so that the students internalize concepts, share in the ownership of their learning, and develop a positive inner monologue.

A Few Reminders
